Los Angeles Rams (-7.5) @ Washington Football Team - This will be an interesting test for Washington against Sean McVay, the former offensive coordinator. The Rams have had trouble matching up with the Washington in the past although their last matchup was 3 seasons ago. The roadmap for Washington to make this competitive is to slow down the Rams attack which could be helped by the return of Chase Young. Kyle Allen makes his debut for the Football Team and looks to get Antonio Gibson more involved as a pass catching back. The Panthers did lose their last 8 games with Allen as a starting quarterback including a loss to Haskins and Washington last season.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Pittsburgh Steelers (-7) - Pittsburgh Steelers defense can get pressure and the Eagles offensive line has struggled due to injuries. Miles Sanders could have his work cut out since the Steelers only rush 2.3 yards per game. The Eagles best shot at keeping this competitive is to get pressure to Roethlisberger- that being said even at 38, Big Ben should be better than Nick Mullens was last week.
Arizona Cardinals (-7) @ New York Jets - Joe Flacco takes over which is a reason why this spread is so big. LeVeon Bell is coming back so the Jets could be slightly better against a Cardinals defense that struggled immensely last week. It will be interesting to see if the Cardinals will rely more upon Kenyan Drake this season or simply move to Chase Edmonds.
Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs (-11.5) - The Raiders had a surprising win against the Saints and have trended downwards since. Carr has looked shaky in terms of his progression. The Chiefs did struggled the last time they faced a division rival although one has to imagine they won't take the Raiders as lightly as the Chargers.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+6) @ Houston Texans - Jacksonville has lost 4 straight against the Texans. Vegas may be counting on a boost from the Texans firing Bill O'Brien. These are two bad defenses so expect a high scoring game. Jay Gruden plans on getting James Robinson more involved.
Cincinnati Bengals (+11.5) @ Baltimore Ravens - The Bengals did play extraordinarily well last week in a win against the Jaguars where Joe Mixon scored 3 touchdowns. Lamar Jackson hasn't been as sharp lately although that has still lead to three victories by 14 or more points. Joe Burrow has done enough to keep games close especially as the Bengals air it out a lot.
Carolina Panthers (+2.5) @ Atlanta Falcons - Atlanta's defense has been terrible and the Panthers are coming off a winning streak. Without Julio Jones, the Panthers could sneak out a win.
Miami Dolphins (+8.5) @ San Francisco 49ers - Mostert may be coming back which could give them the edge. Fitzpatrick did enough to keep it competitive with the Seahawks although one would think that the 49ers' defense could make things tough
New York Giants (+9.5) (LOCK) @ Dallas Cowboys - Daniel Jones only has 2 touchdowns this season but could have a better week especially given how tough the Giants schedule was to start the season and how poor the Cowboys defense has played lately.
Indianapolis Colts @ Cleveland Browns (+1) - The Colts have a great defense so it could be tougher sledding for the Browns offense without Chubb. That being said, it will be interesting to see if Phillip Rivers can get it going against a pretty good Browns defense.
Minnesota Vikings (+7) @ Seattle Seahawks - Justin Jefferson is looking for another 100 yard receiving yard game. While Kirk Cousins has not been stellar in prime time, the Seahawks defense does have a lot of holes although they played pretty well against the Dolphins last week.
Monday
Los Angeles Chargers @ New Orleans Saints (-7.5) - There have been several injuries to the Chargers defense and Drew Brees has picked it up after a very poor showing against the Raiders.
Tuesday
Buffalo Bills (-7.5) @ Tennessee Titans - The Titans are going to be without a lot of their players due to the Corona virus and have not been able to practice together although they are certainly more well rested than the Bills. The fact that the Titans could be without several of their key defenders could make it easier for the Bills who also have had longer to prepare.
