2020 Super Bowl Pick

Andy Reid celebrated the AFC Championship game
by eating a cheeseburger. I wonder what he'll eat tonight.

Kansas City Chiefs (-1.5) vs San Francisco - In a battle of two evenly matched teams, I think Mahomes can exploit the 49ers' defense in the same way other mobile quarterbacks have against the 49ers.  Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson handed the 49ers losses and even Kyler Murray had success against the 49ers this season, where the Cardinals covered the spread twice.  The 49ers have yet to to face a mobile quarterback so far this postseason.

The Chiefs defense has also been better than either the Packers or the Vikings rush defense.  Derrick Henry was only able to gain 69 yards against the Chiefs in the AFC championship game.  It will be interesting to see if the 49ers can create big holes for their multi prong running attack.  I expect that Jimmy Garrapolo will at least throw ball more than 27 times which is more than he has in his last 2 playoff games.  Deebo Samuels looks like he is a significant deep threat.

That being said, the Chiefs may be testing fate a bit if they keep falling behind by double digits which  they have the past two games.  Andy Reid is also 0-1 in the Super Bowl, although Kyle Shanahan did blow a 28-3 as an offensive coordinator of the Falcons.
